It's a real pain huh? I had a look at the original axle and some markings are visible due to the movement. Fortunately the bearings are fine and the new axle kit solved the problem. One thing to remember though is to use 2x 5mm keys at either end of the axle and tighten them good and proper..... they do actually work to hold it in place! What a pain that both ends are playing up for you!

I cannot fault King or the NZ distributer- I'm very happy with their service and it has been one of the most positive warranty experiences to date. I wish you the best of luck with the Australian distributer, Trickbits Australia........maybe let us know how you go?

Cheers.

Your Chris King hub problem sounds like exactly what I'm dealing with at the moment - except I've managed to kill the bearings in the process, and it's not just the rear hub. Hopefully the Australian rep will be just as helpful - I'll be emailing them first thing tomorrow!

Another team victim of the cycling culture, great to hear you got your better half to start riding. I'm working on my girlfriend and she seems keen to get out there. She even came up with a ride idea this weekend!!! She only started last Saturday. Its infectious I'm telling you.
