Port Hills to Sumner

Today’s weather was sun and 23. Perfect. Meeting up with Craig and Tama we also had two other chaps join us too for a climb up Dyers Pass through to Godley head > Sumner > City. Funny thing is that 4 of the 5 were English!

With lots of grueling technical ups and fast dry downs it was a great day out on the hills with a few cold ones over looking the beach in Sumner at the end. What a fantastic way to welcome Summer back- riding, laughs and great company :D

The tracks in the hills are absolutely mint and in perfect condition…. summer is very much here. Hoorah! Next weekend we are looking at a trip to Hamner Springs… which will be great as I’ve not ridden there since arriving back in December 07.

Good times.
