Shimano DX (SH-MP66) SPD trail shoes

Since my Specialized Tahoe shoes cracked after just 6 months of use, I’ve been looking for a replacement. When I first saw the Shimano DX shoes the solid sole, Velcro flap over the laces to keep the winter crap out and high inner ankle protection seemed to be great trail riding features! Today while I was at BikeHQ to drop off the sad sad PIKES, I saw a pair in my size all alone :) so I grabbed them there and then… and at about $160.00 they met my budget too! How sexy are they!?

I’ll be sure to give them a proper hammering and a review in the coming winter months. Meanwhile you can check out their features in more detail at the Shimano website.

They do look great and I’m sure that they won’t stay white for to long either :/
