Derek Morrison photography

On my tea break today I was flicking through a magazine and saw a picture that just stopped me in my tracks…a solo cyclist with wild horse escorts at this years Alpine Epic. After a quick Google I found Derek Morrison’s portfolio and thought that I’d share….I love it.

    Wow! The wild Horses shot I guess is the one your are referring to. I bet Rider 57 has this photo blown up poster size in the living room.

    Hey Paul, stoked you liked the shots. That image of the horses drafting Scott Wilder at the Alpine Epic has been very popular – it was a crazy moment in the mountains during this race – one of many! Check out http://www.alpineepic.co.nz if you’re keen to have a crack at the race. I will be there again this year – with my camera to follow the madness again.

      Hi Derek. That’s a stunning photo for sure. I’m really keen to do the Alpine Epic but I’m waiting for a solo category to be introduced- which may or may not happen- or a riding buddy to commit to it!
